1st semester reflection

 Over the first semester I would say that the quality of my work wasnt where it should be. There were a few times where I would let myself get behind and then rush to finish the project leaving me with a photo that wasnt its best. For a lot of my photos I feel like I couldve done much better.

I didnt put as much effort into taking the photos as I shouldve. I often put them off until the last second and put the minimum amount of planning into them. I also didnt push myself the way I couldve. For participation I think for the most part I did well with. I was always on time to class and tried to work productively throughout the whole period. To improve I definitely would like to have stronger concepts with my photos, I would like to figure out my style and how I like to take pictures as well as tell more of a story with the images I capture. For the second semester I would like to take more time planning out my photos and take pictures that are going to challenge me rather than doing the bare minimum. I also want to make sure that im turning everything in on time and being as productive as possible.

I really liked the assignment where we had to photograph our fears and the picture had to tell the story rather then being of the element alone we were afraid of so, I think it would be cool to do another project like that where we focus more on telling a story with the photo rather than just photographing the element.
